Comment to 'Application of Child to Undergo Administration of Testosterone Opposed by Father'
  • Since the entire decision seems to hang on what Dr B said in his report, shouldn't we ask:

    1. Who chose Dr B to become involved?
    2. Who paid for Dr B?
    3. Is there uniform opinion on gender dysphoria amongst psychiatrists? If so, why didn't Dr B. say so? If not, how do his general views on this subject compare to others?
    4. Do psychiatrists care what courts think of their reports and recommendations? If so, how was Dr B. influenced by what he thought the judge would want to hear?
